Restring
£10 + price of strings
I will also fit your own strings if you wish. I don’t charge extra for restringing floating bridge guitars unless the guitar is not set up in the first place or you require a change of string gauge and/or tuning. The odd bit of adjusting can be done quickly and easily, but major changes in string tension (because of a different string gauge or tuning) will necessitate some additional setting up. I can assess the state of an instrument with a floating bridge beforehand and quote accordingly.
Basic setup
From £50
Intonation, action, truss rod, fingerboard clean / oil, nut slots, fret polish, electronics checked and cleaned, clean and polish, restring. New strings are not included in a basic setup, but I can supply them or you can supply your own. Very rarely there are factors that may increase the price, but these will be discussed prior to being carried out.
From £90
Same as a basic setup, but the instrument is fully disassembled. Neck removed (bolt on only!), all hardware removed, everything cleaned, checked and adjusted where necessary, restring. New strings are not included in a full setup, but I can supply them or you can supply your own. Very rarely there are factors that may increase the price, but these will be discussed prior to being carried out.

This is usually done in conjunction with a basic or full setup as the nut will need to be checked after levelling and may require attention.

Quick fixes and other issues on an otherwise well setup instrument would require a free assessment and discussion of the options. Usually the most common problems can be rectified quickly and inexpensively.

Due to the potential complexity and severity of repairs, a free assessment is essential. Some major repairs may require CNC machinery and/or complex paint and refinishing processes which I may not currently offer. Please get in touch to discuss how best to proceed.
